My Interests.

With a brand-new website, I thought it would be best to start by stating my interests, as these interests will form a basis for what the website will be featuring, in both posts and projects.

Many of my interests revolve around technology and computing, and as such, these interests will form the majority of the content featured. Alongside this, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is another prominent interest of mine and one which will likely be featured if any significant achievements are made in future.

I have been interested in technology for as long as I can remember. As with many of the younger generation, technology played an essential part when growing up, with it coming into nearly all aspects of my life. As such, it became hard not to appreciate its usefulness in everyday life, and I found myself becoming more and more obsessed.

While I find technology fascinating, the concepts and ideas revolving around bio-computing and data science excite me the most. The elegant ways in which a human genome sequence can be stored in data, along with the conceptual genius behind computer simulations have long since interested me. I am particularly enamoured by the idea of using deep learning to help accomplish tasks which many didn’t even think were possible just 10 years ago. In a world where there is more data collected than ever, I am keen to continually build upon my knowledge with the hope of someday developing a piece of technology that can change people’s lives for the better. I firmly believe that bio-computing and data science has the biggest potential to make the world a better place and drastically improve medical practices.

As previously mentioned, outside of technology and computing, I am interested in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). A martial art which I enjoy training 5 days a week and find myself continually testing by capabilities in competitions around the UK.

I, of course, have other interests, but what I have discussed here covers my main endeavours.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
